HIA’s educational model and training programs are based on active learning methods that foster interaction between students and instructors, preparing students to apply the knowledge they gain as a source of practical solutions. Through this approach, students are able to transform acquired skills into real professional capabilities during the course itself, reinterpreting and applying them within a working context.
The academic activities are designed to develop not only theoretical knowledge but, above all, practical skills and the ability to work both individually and in teams. The goal is to provide students with the tools needed to make decisions and cultivate leadership abilities.
To achieve this, HIA offers a distinctive model that emphasizes a participatory approach to lessons.
- Active learning activities that engage students through individual or group projects led by tutors (such as exercises, case discussions, simulations, role playing, testimonials, etc.).
- Blended learning methods that combine different forms of instruction (including active participation in trade shows and conferences, and collaboration with companies).
- Out-of-class learning experiences, sometimes supported by a tutor, to assess students’ ability to apply skills through hands-on exercises, case-solving, and applied problem-solving.
